These wading birds were photographed at Titchwell Marsh in the late afternoon, and include dunlin, curlew sandpiper, lapwing, avocet and snipe. With the dunlin in flight I have tried to capture the beautiful wing patterns as they flew low over the water. These migrating birds feed in the mud eating microscopic crustacea, molluscs and worms.
