My image of a short-eared owl perched on a fence post was chosen as the winning image on the Cambridge Bird Club website for October. There were many excellent images posted to this website for the month and I was pleased that the judge liked this image of the owl as his first choice. http://www.cambridgebirdclub.org.uk
