These badger images were taken on a trip to the Isle of Wight. Normally they do not come out till dark, but this family of five badgers came out from the wood at around 7 o'clock. In the low light I used my 300mm f2.8 lens with ISO 3200 and 2.8 aperture resulting in virtually no depth of field. The first evening the badgers were nervous and vanished at the first click of the shutter. By the third evening my presence didn't bother them and they came within six feet of me.
