Bearded tits spend most of their time deep in reed beds and will only come out when there is virtually no wind. At this time of year the adults and juveniles form small flocks and fly over the read beds before settling to feed. I was lucky enough to see a flock of 50+ fly between reed beds. In one of the posted images part of the flock has landed in the reeds, and I can count 13 birds, but it’s a bit like a page from the “Where’s Walley books” maybe there are more?
