Marsh Harriers 2016

April 29th, 2016

These pair of marsh harriers are building a nest, they successfully raised 3 young last year at the same site. They are flying around picking up sticks and mud for the nest while being harassed by crows. The male collects the materials while the larger female bird builds the nest, with all this activity it is a good time to see these beautiful large birds before they settle down on the nest.
