Kingfishers prepare to catch their next meal by getting rid of the indigestible fish bones in the form of a food ball regurgitated and ejected out. The bird then sights a fish in the water below the perch and dives to catch it in its beak. The male and female have their own territory until they pair up. The female (Last image) remains in her stretch of river and is more nervous staying concealed in the bushes.
