Peregrines

July 10th, 2013

The images show an adult female and a young bird ( blue markings). In images 3,4 and 5 the young bird is preparing to leave the nest. After fledging, it still relies on the adults for food: the female can be seen feeding the young bird with a pigeon it has caught. After about 10 days the adult female and fledgling will leave, while the male bird remains in the area to breed again with the female next year.
