This is the time of year that the Rutland ospreys are getting ready to leave for a 3000 mile trip back to Africa. It has been a pleasure watching these birds and their fishing techniques. One of the posted images shows how far into the water osprey 28(10) dives to get his fish. While osprey 01 catches his fish without going into the water grabbing it from just below the surface as he swoops out of the sky.
